I found that the assembly looks good but needed two things.
1. Better retaining rings. They need to be heavier duty. It took sever tries to get them to seal properly without stripping off. I finally needed to put a hose clamp around the retainer ring to be sure it didn't come off.
2. It needs detailed instructions on how to adjust the valves to attain maximum efficiency. I found that my outlet stays at full flow out from the heat pump and the inlet is adjusted between 75% and 95 % flow in. It would be nice to know what the best temperature differential should be between inlet and outlet

A MUST HAVE WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE HEATER
Installing a throttled bypass value. It says to open 50%. Only thing on handle says “off” but does not show were the position should be or which way to turn handle to 50%.
Instructions are not very clear for do it yourselfers.
