I purchased this to maintain temp in a 22k gallon IG pool in eastern PA. Delivery was uneventful and install straightforward. Advanced DIY or pro only- requires following code for electric and plumbing. Unit started right up and meets the basic calculations for heat gain- appx 2 degrees f over my 5 hour daily pump cycle- granted this is early August so expect performance to drop as fall approaches. For clarity- this unit supplements a 400k BTU propane heater.

The good: current draw matches advertised and actual performance seems to meet expectations- keep in mind actual heat loss overnight is tough to estimate- heat gain during a sunny vs rainy day is equally tough. Overall- I'm getting 2-4 degree f increase during the day and variable loss at night. At a COP of over 5, energy cost is reasonable. Also, I can always increase pump time- so 2 degrees at 5 hours can be 10 degrees at 24 hours. Unit is compact, about the same noise as the main pump (probably the same as a modern AC) and maintains settings after power down (if you cut power to the unit when the pump powers down it remembers temp settings on power up). As noted on the website, most of the heat transfer is through condensation so high humidity is important (and not an issue in my climate). The pressure transducer makes clear if water flow is sufficient- that's a nice addition the OEM did not have to include- appreciated!
