I prefer to wait on reviewing purchases until they have been in use for a period of time. THIS pool accessory is remarkable ! I live in west central Florida, and enjoy comfortably extending the seasonal use of my pool. I replaced an ancient, massive pool heater with this high efficiency pool heat pump with amazing results. Local pool professionals expressed concern that this unit would be incapable of performing adequately. BOY, WERE THEY WRONG ! Nope not dreaming. Best purchase ever. I live in upstate NY. This beauty is keeping my pool at 90 degrees, in September. Dips a little on cold nights but brings it right back up in the AM. Unit was plug n play with my Intex Ultra XTR 32x16 14,400 gallon pool. All I needed was an 8 dollar adapter from Amazon. Deff extended my pool season by 4 months.

I installed this unit on Sunday, May 5th. I am in NW Oregon and the water temp has gone from 57 degrees to 72 degrees in 3 days of running. This is pretty amazing since our evening temps have still been below 40 degrees. We will easily be over 80 degrees and swimming this weekend. Great product!

Purchased the FH270 on Aug 26, 2025, and received timely delivery on Sept 2, 2025. Installed the unit on my above ground 24' round 13,594 gallon pool with a solar cover. Pool temp was 75 degrees Wed afternoon at 4:00 pm when I fired the unit up - at 90 degrees when I cleaned the pool Friday morning at 8:00 am. We are very pleased so far - Grandkids and wife love swimming in 90 water temp in mid-September!

Heat pump is fantastic, works great easy set up. Only problem is both unions supplied with the unit leak; I had to have my installer come back after I went to pool supply to purchase replacements. Overall cost of the unit was good enough I didn’t mind eating the cost to replace them (without waiting for new ones in the mail/ dealing with customer service etc. ) but point is I shouldn’t have had to.
